Turf Up Committee moves forward with fundraising for Phase 1 Market Analysis study.

School Committee voted to approve a turf project provided the market analysis aligned with the presentation that was given by Turf Up (Barry Davidson).

SEPTEMBER 2017

Awaiting results from School Committee study to determine whether or not the Tri-Town/Masconomet will incur any longterm, unforeseen expenses with the installation and maintenance of turf fields.

School Committee votes in approval to move forward with an RFP to conduct a study to determine whether or not the Tri-Town/Masconomet will incur any longterm, unforeseen expenses with the installation and maintenance of turf fields.

FEBRUARY 2017

School Committee tentatively approved TurfUp plan, pending 2nd level review of long-term costs.  Fundraising efforts tentatively approved.

FEBRUARY 2016

Masco Youth Football invites TurfUp Masco to join their 503(c)(3) as a sub-project with the understanding that the scope of the field usage is inclusive of all sports and activities.

JANUARY – JUNE 2016

School Committee begins involvement with TurfUp and begins to review feasibility of TurfUp Masco.

JUNE 2013 – DECEMBER 2015

Committee formed to begin the work of removing the existing grass playing fields and adding Turf to the Masconomet High School football and practice fields.    A feasibility study is conducted and plans are finalized.
